Doha, Qatar – 2 April, 2013: As the latest edition of Qatar Career Fair (QCF) kicks off, RasGas Company Limited (RasGas), is going the extra mile to attract the best and brightest Qatari talent. Offering numerous opportunities to young students and fresh graduates, the Company is opening its doors to an exclusive visit to its facilities at Ras Laffan Industrial City (RLIC) as part of its recruitment drive for this year's QCF.
RasGas' facilities at RLIC are home to seven world class liquefied natural gas (LNG) processing trains, two Al Khaleej Gas trains, the Barzan Gas Project as well as two helium plants. The facilities are run by highly skilled professionals specialising in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Marine, Geology and IT engineering.
"As one of the world's leading LNG producers, we are always on the lookout for young Qataris who are looking to build a dynamic career in the Energy sector. In addition to presenting opportunities at our QCF stand, we're opening our doors for a site visit at RLIC this month, to give them an insight into our core business which is the extraction, processing and storage of natural gas from Qatar's North Field," said Erhama Al-Kaabi, Chief Employee Development and Welfare Officer at RasGas.

Qataris who are keen to get an insight into some of the largest and most sophisticated LNG plants in the world should submit their request at the RasGas stand at the QCF. The visit will include a full-day guided tour of the facilities allowing students to see and experience first-hand how LNG, helium and sales gas are produced for the global and local markets. They will also learn about RasGas' high safety and environment standards that has won the company many awards.
RasGas was one of the first Qatari companies to participate in the QCF and has since recruited countless Qatari talent. Currently, about 33% of its total workforce is made up of Qataris. The Company's headquarters building is located in West Bay in Doha while all refineries and processing plants are at RLIC.
